Yes—this is our primary application for kissing spines. Vets may use different terminology depending on what they see on imaging. In many cases the vertebrae are not yet touching or fused—and that’s where rehab, taping, and lifestyle changes can be truly life-changing for your horse’s comfort and posture.If the vertebrae are touching and fused, the only true “fix” for the fusion itself is surgery.
