This hands-on, in-person Equine Functional Taping (EFT) Certification Practicum is designed for students who want to turn the digital coursework into clean, repeatable field skill. If you are serious about equine taping that is built for horses (not adapted from human kinesiology taping), this is where you practice applications, refine your technique, and get direct coaching so you can apply EFT with confidence on real horses.
This practicum is continuing education (CE) style training: structured, objective-based, and protocol-driven. We will work through the applications, goals, and core concepts taught in the EFT Certification course, with an emphasis on correct setup, correct tension, correct positioning, and troubleshooting when results aren't happening as they should.
Prerequisite (required): You must complete the EFT Certification (Digital) course before attending. This day is not an introduction; it's an intensive skill lab.
Who it's for
- Equine professionals pursuing equine taping certification and CE credit-style skill development
- Practitioners who want hands-on refinement of EFT applications (neuro, fascia, circulation/lymphatic, muscle activation, and support)
- Students who want direct feedback to improve accuracy, consistency, and outcomes
What you'll practice and learn
- How to select the right EFT application based on the objective (goal-driven taping)
- Technique refinement: placement, tension, anchors, and body positioning
- Common failure points and troubleshooting (why tape fails, why outcomes stall, how to correct)
- How to verify your work: markers of success and what to look for in movement
What's included
- EquiTecs tape for training use
- Water + light brain snacks
What to bring
- Your lunch
- Any specialty drinks you need for the day
Spots available
Limited to 12 seats per practicum to keep coaching practical and feedback meaningful.
